WaveMed Retreats is more than an escape, it is a transformative experience that bridges professional growth with personal renewal, leaving an enduring impact on both participants and the communities we serve.

ABOUT US

At WaveMed Retreats, we believe that professional development can be immersive, transformative, and deeply connected to both personal well-being and community impact. We aspire to create a retreat experience where healthcare professionals can learn, heal, and grow all while fostering meaningful relationships with the land, its people, and each other.

    1. Sustainability & Stewardship – We honor and protect Costa Rica’s natural beauty by integrating eco-conscious practices into everything we do, from ethical sourcing to responsible tourism. Through partnering with 1% for the planet.

    2. Giving Back To The Community– Through partnerships with local artisans for the welcoming kits, healthcare initiatives through giving free courses to community members, and sustainability projects through partnering with the SOMOS foundation, we ensure that our work uplifts and honors the people and places that make this retreat possible.

    3. Inclusion & Safe Spaces – We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and identities, creating an environment where diversity is celebrated, and every participant feels valued, heard, and supported.

  • Learning should be immersive. We integrate nature, movement, and mindfulness into our programs, whether it’s catching waves in the Pacific, grounding through yoga, or engaging in deep professional dialogue under the open sky.
